Press and hold the DAW button until the display shows “DAW”.Rotate the Encoder again until you see “Win”, press the Encoder again.Rotate the Encoder knob until you see “PC” displayed press the Encoder to select.press Shift and Global and the display will show “GLOBE” with “G CHAN” underneath.Plug the USB connector into the Oxy Pro and your computer (don’t start Cakewalk yet) and turn the power switch on. I haven't tested all features yet (pads) but the transports, pots and faders are all working. I’ve installed and uninstalled the Oxy Pro numerous times and I was starting to get the impression that whether it works or not is almost as random as a coin toss.Īfter a lot of playing with it, I have found a method that works with Cakewalk using the ACT control mapping.

I looked around on various forums and realized I’m not the only one struggling to get these two to play nicely together. I mainly want to use the Transport controls and I imagine I’ll find ways to use the other faders, knobs, and pads in the future. The feel of the keys is what sold me on this, most other keyboard controllers feel like toys to me while the Oxy Pro line has a very premium feel.Īfter plugging it in, the keyboard was able to send MIDI notes to the DAW immediately but the controls didn’t do anything. I recently bought an M-Audio Oxygen Pro 49 keyboard and found that there is no native support for Cakewalk by Bandlab (or Sonar).
